This is a great opportunity to work as a Wintel Engineer based in Singapore. You will be a part of our client's infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations conforming with agreed service-level agreements (SLAs) and within the budgeted capital and operational expenses.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Establishing IT service management (ITSM) standards, processes, and guidelines
- Providing technical leadership and consultancy on system performance, integration, and configuration
- Being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of hands-on knowledge in Shell, Perl, Python, or PowerShell focusing on issues, security-related threats, and vulnerabilities
- Leading and establishing Root Cause Analysis for all high severity issues
- Participating in the upgrade/patch planning and execution of Middleware software
- Ensuring adherence to applicable Change and Release Management processes
- Operating as a team player, willing to travel to execute on overseas projects and be on 24/7 standby
You will ideally have:
- Attained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences/IT
- Over 5 years of working experience in end-to-end operations management experience in configuration, upgradation, and resolution across Windows Servers, OS clustering, Hyper-V, VMware Virtualization, IIS, Biztalk, AWS and MS Azure
- Experience or certification in:
- MCSA/MCSE
- VMware
- AWS or Azure or Google Cloud
- ITIL v3
- Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
