Web Developer (PHP, Bootstrap, WordPress)
An international business group with HQ in Singapore is looking for a Web Developer, ideally with technical experience in PHP, Bootstrap, and Wordpress.
This is your chance to join one of the most varied business conglomerates in Singapore's history, with divisions in the financial services, healthcare, and aerospace sectors. This would be a renewable contract position, and the salary range is $4000-7000. There would also be a discretionary bonus, medical insurance, and 21 days annual leave.
Please note: Formal dressing would be required in this role, it is a traditional business environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Code and modify websites, both internal and external facing, from layout to function and according to specifications
- Create visually appealing websites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation
- Work closely with designers on images and contents for websites and documents
- Maintain current websites to a very high standard
- Ensure all content is beautifully presented and accurate
- Create and edit simple visuals for intranet using Adobe Suite
- Manage projects as and when required
- Maintaining Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents
- Maintaining InDesign documents
The Requirements:
- At least 5 years of working experience as a web developer
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
- Strong relational skill set and a desire to work well with colleagues
- Deep expertise and hands-on experience with web applications andprogramming languages such as Classic ASP, PHP, HTML, CSS,
- Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, URL rewrite, MSSQL, MYSQL, WordPress
- Able to work independently and good at troubleshooting
- Experience in Adobe Suite - Dreamweaver, Photoshop and InDesign
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Hunger to learn. You will be given the opportunity to do work far beyond the scope of a web developer
