The Opportunity
Our client are a dynamic and fast growing international tech company and are seeking an experienced Head of Financial Reporting to take ownership of the Group reporting and drive automation and efficiencies across the business.

The Role
As this is a Group level role this position has full oversight of all reporting requirements, in accordance with USGAAP, across all subsidiray businesses. To accomplish this requires not only exceptional technical knowledge but also an ability to influence and collaborate with the Finance Directors and their teams at country level.
As a regional expert you will have responsibility to review existing processes and then create new policies and rule books for the businesses to follow which will ensure consistency across the organisation.
With a desire to consistently improve the way of reporting, there is a real appetite for someone to join who brings with them both a passion and deep knowledge on how to automate processes, improve how tech is being used and re-engineer how things are done. Be creative, be bold, be different.
As an extremely fast paced organisation who continue to grow and innovate at a rapid rate your commercial accumen to not only manage month end consolidations but to offer advice on how to improve analysis of financial statements for example will be invaluable to your success in not just this role, but the next.
What you're bringing....
You will have been trained, qualified (CPA/CA) and managed in the Big 4 with exposure to large and complex multi nationals as clients. You have a deep knowledge of USGAAP, have experience of driving finance transformation and have ideally operated in a shared service environment. Ideally coming from a top tier commercial organisation you will understand how to be successful in a complex, matrix international company.
Whilst this is a technical accounting role it is a also senior finance leadership position requiring a skilled people operator and change agent who is able to build relationships, influence and impact. With essential communication required to the China business Mandarin is an essential requirement.
