Our client is a leading MNC in the Semiconductor industry. They are currently in the lookout to hire a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead their team in Asia. This role will be responsible to implement the strategy to drive cost reductions while maintaining the high quality and reliability of their products.

Responsibilities
- Implement regional procurement and sourcing strategy to drive cost reductions
- Develop and lead the strategic sourcing team
- Elaborate and implement KPIs for internal strategic sourcing team and external suppliers
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams to support NPD and NPIs
- Source, identify, evaluate, select and develop new suppliers
- Conduct negotiations and contract management with suppliers
- Prepare data analysis reports to keep track of material cost (spend analysis)
- Ensure accuracy of vendor's information on ERP-System (SAP)
- Monitor suppliers' scorecards\KPIs for future decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) / Supply Chain or relevant field
- At least 8 years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing (globally) function in a manufacturing environment (EMS/Semiconductor industries preferred)
- IT hands-on experience (MS Office and SAP)
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin in order to lead strategic sourcing team and to negotiate effectively with overseas suppliers from China
- Some travel may be required (Up to 20%)
