Software Engineer (Java + Spring) - 12 Months Contract - Singapore

Day-to Day Tasks:
- Analysing, designing, developing, testing, documenting and maintain of IT Systems and Applications
- Investigating reported systems shortcoming to internal and external customers
- Analysing requests for enhancements and writing amendments
- Performing and managing stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Work with Project Managing in systems review
- Understanding the interdependencies of services (applications, systems, and databases) and pin-pointing problem areas accurately to improve overall efficiency
- Designing and documenting system design, architecture, and propose appropriate tools
- Developing test cases by conducting system integration testing (SIT), load tests, and tuning the performance of systems to meet service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Providing technical guidance to junior colleagues
You will ideally have:
- 2+ years of experience in systems analysis, designing, programming in:
- Java/Java EE
- Struts, JSF, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, IBatis
- Weblogic Application Server, Elixir, Oracle DB, LDAP, MQ Series
- JBoss Application Server, Apache Tomcat, ESB
- Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL
- Possess good experience in developing Java EE web application and Java UI frameworks
- Certification in Java, Java EE is a plus
- Project leading experience
This is a 12 months contract position to start and conversion to permanent is possible.
