<span id="mce_marker" data-mce-type="bookmark"></span><span id="__caret">_</span>Our client is a dynamic player in the medical space who is building a new center of excellence. Newly created role to manage the performance of distributors thriving to develop high performance in line with the organization's channel strategy. You will provide the strategic direction and framework for the regional channel management team including playing a lead role in performance assessment, issue management, setting up KPIs and reporting platform to ensure accuracy of sales forecasting and develop mechanisms to measure channel margin and optimize it.
You will also work closely with the commercial team to build a strong go to market strategy and long term strategic partners. In addition, you will hunt or appoint new distributors, help with their onboarding and training.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong commercial acumen with a track record of distributor or channel management from the medical/pharma or healthcare industry. At least 5 years of management experience as you will manage a team of 3-4 reports. You must be comfortable working in a highly matrix environment and be able to quickly establish credibility with internal stakeholders for success. Strong decision making and judgement as well as problem solving, and results orientation is essential. Flexibility for high travel up to 50% across the region.
