My client is a global name and market leader in the precision equipment industry and now seek an experienced R&D Electrical Engineer to join them
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the design, development, support, and maintenance of industrial machines
- Design electrical control systems and safety circuits
- Create product documentation including electrical wiring table, technical specifications, schematics, test reports, BOMs, manuals
- Oversee the regulatory issues covering EMC and safety
- Lead the design group in risk assessments and manage the risk assessment file
- Mentor a group of junior engineers
- Conduct design reviews as needed
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 6-8 years' experience
- Experience in motion control with servo, stepper, AC and DC motors
- Stronghold in electrical circuit design, sensor application, automation, and industrial control design
- Knowledge of Machinery Directives, CE standards, UL, CCC, and NR12 directives
- Foundational knowledge of Sistema software will be a plus
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with senior stakeholders
