Responsibilities:
- Utilise AI/ML technology for the algorithm development and lead the development and improvement of current quantification software for frequency doubling/nonlinear optics and two-photon excitation (TPE) fluorescence image analysis
- Apply technical competencies to problems with significant complexity
- Make difficult design trade-offs and decisions about features, schedule, quality and cost
- Determine and execute all tasks that are required for a project and accepts responsibility for project outcome
- Conduct quantitative measurements on the images and improve the algorithms of image enhancement for optimised visualisation of product and equipment
- Ensure that imaging adheres to protocol-specific and regulatory based requirements - establish imaging requirements, acquisition of images, transmission procedures and image calibrations
- Prepare design and development documentation in accordance with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 guidelines
Requirements
- Degree/Master's in computer, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics or equivalent
- At least 5 years working experience on image analysis, algorithm design and development;
- Industry expertise - medical devices, complex equipment, innovative products etc.
- Strong foundation in mathematics with familiarity with all kinds of basic computer vision and pattern recognition algorithms,
- Experience with machine learning algorithms will be a plus
- Prior knowledge of IP generation and patent filing will be an added advantage
- Proficient in MatLab, Python or C, C++, C#
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
