We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your expertise in understanding business processes, translating requirements, and ensuring project progress will contribute to the successful delivery of IT applications.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand their processes and needs. Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications.
- Project Tracking: Assist in monitoring and reporting on project progress, issues, and risks. Ensure that deliverables are on track and aligned with project objectives.
- Application Support: Provide support for multiple application systems and platforms. Collaborate with technical teams to address issues and enhance system performance.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow company, project, and support standards and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in all activities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in delivering and supporting IT applications. Your extensive experience will be vital in understanding and addressing complex IT challenges.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with an exceptional attention to detail. Your ability to dissect complex issues and find effective solutions will be a key asset.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on technical writing. Your ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is crucial.
- Business Acumen: A keen appreciation of business needs and a strong interest in business processes and process re-engineering. Your ability to align technology solutions with business objectives will be highly valued.
- SQL Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to write SQL queries. This skill will aid in data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Graphic Creation: Simple MSSQL, GIMP, Photoshop or any graphical related skill would be required as there will be mock-ups/screen creation in my client's design paper drafting
- Working Methods: The teams work fully Agile but if you are coming in with Waterfall experience, fred not because as long as you are resourceful and adaptive to changes - that is one of the soft skills that they are looking for
