Responsibilities
- Collaborate with different business units - Application engineering team, design, product development, and product/test engineering team on product performance validation and trouble shooting
- Address customer application issues, product yield and quality issues during new product introduction and high volume manufacturing
- Understand customer requirements in RF products application and business unit strategy
- Provide application engineering support to technical community including design product development/product/test engineering about technical issues in problem resolution and future roadmap of new products
- Assume accountability to drive customer design-in / design-win activities and keep close collaborations with the business unit with effective feedback and closed loop communication
- Assist business unit in delivering the product and technology value to meet customer application requirement in order to maintain and win more business
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of modern RF communication systems and RF front end component technologies
- Knowledge and experience on ANOVA and MSA theory and applications
- Experience working on equipment such as SiGen, SpecAn, NA, Communication/Protocol Tester, AWG, Oscilliscope as well as lab automation programming tools such as VEE or Labviews
- Prior hands-on experience with Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes and RF simulation and debugging tools will be an added advantage
- Exposure to schematic design and layout for RF sections
- C/Java/VB.net and JMP scripting language programming capability
- Travel of 10-20%
