My client is a global name in the manufacturing of complex equipment and now seek an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join them
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the development of new hardware and software modules according to current or future customer requirements - analysis, modelling, simulation measurement and qualification
- Define specific requirements for interdisciplinary development team consisting of mechanics, electronics, software and motion control
- Conduct and analyse experiments in order to identify suitable system parameters and machine production sequences
- Support product management on customer projects
- Support manufacturing engineering on assembly and supplier issues
- Interpret, document and present results to senior stakeholders
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with a focus on physics, mechatronics or material science
- 2-5 years experience in semiconductor or mechanical engineering fields
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with programming
- Proven expertise with working in a lab based environment
- Innovative, systematic and solution-oriented work approach
- Flexible and able to work under pressure
