My client is a global leader in the R&D and manufacturing of complex equipment used in variety of industries and are undergoing a complete transformation of their site. They now seek an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects in the site and champion the transformation in the organization
This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Site Leader
Responsibilities:
- Identify, Develop and Implement short and midterm strategic plans in order to meet project deliverables
- Ensure that deliverables are achieved within the tight time frame
- Manage key stakeholders locally and globally
- Provide regular monitoring and reporting to management and stakeholders on the project status
- Manage project health, flag early and proactively managing on any issues or risk related to people, process and financials
- Ensure all the project risks are within the desired levels and the risks are managed accordingly
- Document business requirements as directed, ensuring traceability back to source
- Map the business requirements to the solutions and work closely vendor team to close out issues
- Facilitate and run project team sessions with business to understand the requirements and liaise with vendor to realise those
- Conduct business impact assessments to identify the current state to the future state in its related processes
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with functional leaders outside the Singapore operations
- Work closely with relevant government bodies and maintain regular updates
- Ability to drive continuous improvement through programs such as Kaizen, 5S, VSM and Lean Manufacturing in the long-term
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent
- 10 - 15 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Principles, Industry 4.0 expertise
- Prior expertise in handling transformation and site move will be an advantage
- Strong leadership qualities, a team-builder and person of high integrity
- Outstanding people and project management skills
- Excellent personal presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability in dealing with stressful and uncertain situations
