Responsibilities and requirements:
- Manage safe start up and shutdown of process/unit
- Perform DCS operations and controls
- Utilities and boiler operations
- Ensure routine tasks and operations checklists are completed
- Issue and close safe work permits and ensure work activities are carried out safely
- Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift change
Requirements
- Diploma / NITEC in Engineering
- 2-7 years of experience in a chemical process plant environment
- Qualified candidates with enough years of seniority can be considered for a Senior Process Technician role
- Class 2 boiler Certification is a must
