Point-of-sales (POS) Specialist

A leading organization in Singapore is looking for a Point-of-sales (POS) subject matter expert to join in their innovative and exciting team to work with businesses across South East Asia.

In this role, you will require to:

  • Ensure and optimize POS System functions to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain the existing POS system application for internal stakeholders.
  • Plan, review and revise configurations and customizations of POS system as needed in order to meet evolving needs of the business
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting with regards to all aspects of POS system and data integrity for stakeholders and in stores services.
  • Monitor end-user usage of systems and track performance and provide support end user requests for reports, KPI's, and dashboards
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered on the POS system platform.
  • Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects and new functionality based on evolving business needs
  • Work directly with POS developer or other Professional Services organization to drive and coordinate larger (more complex) POS projects

Key technical requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands on experience in supporting POS system in a large scale environment.
  • Hands-on and expert in technical support for POS System, specifically for RetailPRO system.
  • Experience in infrastructure support is added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders across the business.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills to act on issues with urgency.
  • Good communications skills to support end-users across different locations.
