My client is a leader in the chemicals space and are looking to hire a logistics specialist that has a deep understanding of Singapore Trade Compliance Laws/ Customs.
Responsibilities:
- Be the person in contact for the various business units who have questions regarding queries
- Be familiar and have experience conducting internal audits and make sure the company is following all legal compliance laws in Singapore
- Be a part of cross departmental projects in the APAC region
- Be in charge checking pre-contract for new items before purchasing and support the various business units
- Help with the training of the system for current and future staff across the APAC region
- Assist other business units with Digital Transformation projects, meetings, and the generation on ad-hoc reports
- Prior expereince with Enhancement Projects
Requirement:
- Minimum Degree, preferably in logistics or similar
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role handling trade compliance
- Interact with internal stakeholders cross the region
- Ideally candidate should be available ASAP
