My client, a world leader in the precision engineering industry, is expanding in Singapore. It now seeks an experienced Laser Process Engineer to join the growing team
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for system level design, integration, troubleshooting and testing of laser and optical systems
- Develop innovative processes and methods to improve processing time and quality for laser processed high precision parts
- Utilise laser systems to achieve nano/micro tolerances required for high precision parts
- Liaise with R&D engineers and suppliers to develop laser systems that involve laser sources, optics, mechanical, and electrical modules, automation modules, and software components
Requirements:
- Degree or Masters in Photonics, Optics, Electronics, Mechanical or related fields
- At least 3-5 years of hands on experience in Laser/Photonics related Manufacturing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Prior experience in project management skills
