Our client is a leading global brand within the manufacturing industry, with multiple operations across the region. They are urgently looking to bring on an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team here in Singapore!

Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions as per below:

  • Recruitment, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations
  • Liaising with unions and assisting with collective agreement negotiations
  • Acting as an advisor to managers and heads of departments on operational and stragic HR issues
  • Advising managers on employment legislation matters in Singapore
  • Processing new work pass applications and renewals
  • Be the go to person for all HR and IR related matters
  • Overseeing the operational budget for the departments
  • Monthly reporting for heads of departments
  • Workplace health and safety champion, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and in line with legal regulations

Skills and Experience:

  • Must have at least 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry (MNC environment preferred)
  • A Bachelor's degree majoring in Human Resources or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience in ER/IR and have previously dealt with unions and negotiating collective agreements
  • Ability to operate at a strategic and operational level
  • An ability to self manage and prioritise competing tasks
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation skills and ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin due to regional coverage
