258K Pesos per month

My client, a rapidly growing MNC are looking for an HR Manager to support the Country Manager of a rapidly expanding organization based in Manilla, Philippines.
This role will report to HQ in Singapore and will oversee the full HR Function while managing 2 direct HR reports and the Admin team.This role will support a headcount of approximately 60 with growth plans in 2020.

We are looking for a highly collaborative individual who is able to think independently and creatively and can bring some good ideas to the table in terms of building culture and cohesiveness.

Previous proven ability across all aspects of operational HR is essential as is the ability to employ high quality Business Partnering and building credibility

The main responsibilities includes:

Talent acquisition
Develop and manage efficient and cost- effective recruitment solutions. Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process and induction of new high calibre professionals (full time and fixed term contract staff) including developing position descriptions, liaison with recruitment agencies, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, overseeing and managing all contractual arrangements, residency and visa matters, and implementing and managing an employee mobility program. Roles will be across commercial and technical specialisms.

HR administration
Ensure that all aspects of operational HR, including maintenance of employee statistics, HR metrics, reporting and payroll management are managed effectively across the various operating entities. Maintain accurate HR records by implementing an appropriate document management system which is audit ready.
Solely responsible for permit application and renewal for expats and their dependents.

HR Compliance
To be fully responsible for identifying all HR related compliance matter (company and personnel matters); including national, local regulations and internal policy & procedure. To develop a monitoring system and be in-charge of the on-going compliance obligations.

Policy development and practices
Responsible for all policy matters affecting manpower planning, recruitment, selection and performance reviews. Conduct regular training on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to the company. Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory trends in the APAC region in order to effectively counsel managers and conduct compliance checks. Provide advice to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with all labour laws to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.

Performance management
Create a high performance culture, ensuring performance management processes are effectively implemented and performance issues are promptly addressed and documented. Consult leaders on talent management and organisational design challenges and support managers with coaching, mentoring and disciplinary actions.

Compensation and benefits
Conduct salary benchmarking, develop a compensation and benefits structure in the company, and work with team managers to conduct the appraisal process.

Talent retention
Drive initiatives, provide consultation and training on the engagement and retention of executives.

Organisational development
Drive innovation and improvement in HR practices and create relevant policies and procedures. Prepare HR manual and staff handbooks and providing relevant training.

Training and development
Responsible for induction training and for mapping out learning and development needs and implementing programs.

Workforce planning
Drive and manage workforce planning and headcount management to align strategies and business priorities. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.

HR partnering
Work closely with HR counterparts and managers in regional offices to ensure alignment and best practice sharing. Take an active role in supporting new country start-up operations.
Employee relations
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing appeals, grievances or other issues.
