My client is a leading automation solution provider born in Europe, they have a mature R&D center and servicing center in Singapore serving APAC region. To meet the more advanced expectation from clients in high technology industries, they are now seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer for their R&D team.
As a critical member in design team, you will be responsible for the design, development, support and maintenance of industrial machines, and to design electronic schematics for new products / upgrade of existing products according to specifications and
oversee PCB layout. You will also select and evaluate suitable components for use in products, and perform risk assessments, EMC tests to ensure that products fulfill CE requirements. You will create and update documents, connection diagrams and BOMs and development of PCA test strategy from the PCA factory to top level factory, and provide technical support and trainings to peers for products within own area of expertise, and lead the department in regulatory issues covering EMC and machinery safety (Training will be provided). You will manage the Risk Assessment file and lead the design group in risk assessments, and conduct design reviews before an international audience. You also have authority to decide on details of execution of tasks within own field of expertise and in line with company guidelines/practices.
To be considered with this roe, you will have at least bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering and at least 5 years relative experience. You will be experienced in motion control with servo, stepper, AC and DC motors and developing control boards, and using STM microprocessors is an advantage; You will have solid knowledge of electrical circuit design, schematics design, sensor application, automation, industrial control design; You will be sophisicated with Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical. You will be familiar with Digital / analog circuits, microcontroller, motion control, EMC. You will have knowledge of Machinery Directives and CE standards, and UL, CCC and NR 12 directives, and Sistema software in assessing saftey integrity. You will have basic test programming knowledge.
