Overview
My client is a reputable MNC within the Food and Beverage industry.
They are currently on the lookout for a Strategic Procurement professional to manage their vegetables and fixings category (~$10M SGD), part of a regional spend of ~$100M SGD per year.
Structure & Scope of work
You will be part of a team of 2 other Category Managers (peers) reporting into the Regional Head of Procurement Supply Chain based in Singapore. You will be expected to design and execute categorization strategies to achieve cost targets while maintaining high-standards of quality and service levels of suppliers.
They are looking for a strong communicator able to present data in front of senior stakeholders from abroad. You should be familiar with supplier negotiations as well as IT tools (MS Office Package) to present your analysis and recommendations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience in the Procurement field, preferably within the F&B sector (Strategic Procurement / Category Management / Supplier Management), not operational purchasing
- Fluency in Mandarin in order to liaise efficiently with overseas suppliers
- Stakeholder management and presentation skills (confident personality)
- Hands-on proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel + PowerPoint)
Remuneration
- $8,000 to $10,000 SGD per month * 12 (No AWS) + Performance Bonus
*Negotiable depending on experience and suitability
Interview Process
- One F2F interview in Singapore's CBD + 1 virtual interview with stakeholders overseas
