Volt has partnered exclusively with an International Contract Manufacturing Company who specialize in manufacturing of Food Ingredients & Nutritional supplements, who are currently planning to expand their customer base in APAC region. Our client is well known for their International Quality Standards and their Manufacturing technology, that offers an excellent value proposition to their customers. Instead of having direct sales teams, they hire freelance brokers who will be representing them in given specific countries, where they will be in charge of sourcing for potential customers in the respective country.
Till Date, we have secured 10 Brokers in APAC for Specific Countries. We are now looking to secure one more broker for a Regional Coverage role. As a Sales broker, your objective will be to successfully close deals for the client in the assigned country, mainly by identifying suitable prospects in the Food - Supplement - Nutrition Industry, who are looking for a Contract Manufacturer to manufacture their products with High Quality Premium Standards.
It's not a typical salary based role nor a full time employment role. Instead it's a project based commission role, where the broker will be getting a direct commission on the sales they generate. A single deal size can be of minimum of 2-3 Million USD and the commission will be paid for the first and all subsequent orders for a period of three years, making it an attractive opportunity.
The broker's main role is to link up the potential customer to my client, and act as a mediator. The sales and logistics aspect will be directly handled by my client, whilst the broker may have to help on the local regulations. The ideal candidate can utilize this opportunity as an additional income source whilst doing this as part time or can setup their own business, by engaging with the client as a direct customer. Additionally, if there is no conflict of interest with the current employer, he/she can do this on the side line.
The role requires someone with good commercial mindset and drive to hunt prospects for the client. The ideal candidate will have good connections/contacts in the Food Ingredients / Nutritional supplements sector OR someone who is already active in importing/exporting Food ingredients / Food Supplements.
