Assistant Manager Role (M&A in Wellness) | 12 months contract | Renewable | Singapore

Position Mission (responsibilities & expectations):
My client is actively invests in and collaborates with regional and global partners in the wellness field including healthcare, life-science, and personal well-being.
Our goal is to promote Value-Based Healthcare in Asia by enhancing the quality of healthcare and reducing medical expenditures, by investing in and/or connecting various stakeholders, such as the best Hospitals/ Clinics, regional Payers and pharmaceutical companies, and encouraging outcome-based care using healthcare data.

The main mission for this position is to:

  • Explore and pursue new investment opportunities in the region that fit with our strategy.
  • Help increase the value and performance of affiliated companies by utilizing company's network, resources, and expertise in the wellness sector.
  • Support planning and carrying out the department strategy for the medium and long term, which is well aligned with the global strategy of Wellness Business Unit in HQ, as well as the Regional strategy.

People Management (if applicable; incl. outside of MAP):
To communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing with management, team members, management of affiliated companies and other stakeholders.

Geographical scope:
Asia Pacific with strong focus in ASEAN countries


  • Explore and pursue on new investment opportunities in the region that fit with our strategy. Support to identify and act on such opportunities, by contributing to making proposals to potential partners, market research and financial analysis within projects, also by leveraging company's network and division's industrial knowledge.
  • Help increase the value and performance of affiliated companies, by managing multiple clients and project teams, ensuring a deep understanding of the main challenges/ difficulties of such stakeholders, and by utilizing company's global network and expertise.
  • Support planning the department strategy for the mid-term and long term, in line with the global strategy of HQ Wellness Business Unit, as well as the Asia Pacific's regional strategy.


  • Min. Bachelor's Degree holder and above.
  • Min 2-3 years of experience (excluding job intern period) of investment-related work
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to actively diversify the range of industry-related expertise and business expertise
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the Asia Pacific region, especially in the ASEAN countries. (frequency of travel: 1-2 times /quarter)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both in written and verbal
  • Proficient in English
