Our client is a travel retail player with an exciting portfolio of beauty brands who is looking for an Area Sales Manager to focus on the Asian market. You will play a key role in the development of the business revenue, market share, profitability, and retail excellence. This includes working closely with the distributors on the ground and serving the airports, downtown stores and inflight.
This will include leading negotiations with clients to set up a framework including planning of budget and salesforce as well as day to day management including the shopper mix, sell-out, etc. You should deepen your understanding of the beauty category and identify opportunities for growth including best practice sharing.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of work experience in a sales, key account or business development capacity in the travel retail environment. Regional market experience is essential, and you will be required to travel 20% for this role. You should possess strong communication and presentation skills coupled with good business acumen.
