I am pleased and excited to work on a Retained Search for my client to help identify a candidate for a pioneer leadership role that is to be based in Singapore. My client is a leading International name in the Fuels Industry and is well known for their sustainability innovations across many industrial verticals.
They are currently to looking hire an experienced commercial candidate who will be leading the market creation for Renewables Fuels in Automotive & Road Transportation sectors. It's a newly created role and will be based in Singapore. Reporting to the Key Business Leader, the APAC Market Development Manager, will be playing an important role in strategizing and driving the business growth in the APAC region, by identifying and developing key relationships with prospective contacts within the Automobile / Road Transportation sector. This is a Strategic Sales role, where the targeted sales model will heavily rely on creating a Value based selling as opposed to a typical commodity sales.
The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneur mindset and passion for the renewables industry and should have a good understanding of a developing a start-up business units or market development/market creation for a new product/service within a region. The lead generation will come from the marketing and business development activities of this role and support will be provided for the technical part of the sales.
Requirements
- Degree / Masters from a recognized University
- Solid years of experience in commercial focus in developing markets or experience in developing a market for a new product within Industrial verticals or New Business Unit start-up experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Road transportation / Automotive Fuels sector will be an advantage
- The client is also open for candidates who come from Consultancy background with experience working on Clean Energy, Sustainability, Decarbonization, Green Energy projects.
