I am pleased and excited to work on a Retained Search for my client to help identify a candidate for a pioneer leadership role that is to be based in Singapore. My client is a leading International name in the Fuels Industry and is well known for their sustainability innovations across many industrial verticals.
They are currently to looking hire an experienced commercial candidate who will be leading the market creation for Renewables Fuels in Automotive & Road Transportation sectors. It's a newly created role and will be based in Singapore. Reporting to the Key Business Leader, the APAC Market Development Manager, will be playing an important role in strategizing and driving the business growth in the APAC region, by identifying and developing key relationships with prospective contacts within the Automobile / Road Transportation sector. This is a Strategic Sales role, where the targeted sales model will heavily rely on creating a Value based selling as opposed to a typical commodity sales.
The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneur mindset and passion for the renewables industry and should have a good understanding of the APAC Road transportation Fuel market including the Supply Chain, Logistics and also the distribution partners. Alternatively, the client is also open for Strategic Commercial Candidates who have experience in driving products/applications related to Sustainability / Decarbonisation / Green Energy / Alternative fuel / Clean energy projects.
Requirements
- Degree / Masters from a recognized University
- This role is open for three clusters of candidates ;
- Solid years of commercial / business development experience and knowledge in Road Fuels / Automotive OEM markets / Renewable Fuels / Fuel Cell / Electric Vehicles / Automotive Energy channels - APAC region.
- Candidates with experience in Sustainability Reporting / Decarbonization projects and understanding of the Asia Pacific markets
- The client is also open for candidates who come from Consultancy background with experience working on Clean Energy, Sustainability, Decarbonization, Green Energy projects.
