My client is a global name in the equipment industry and now seek an experienced Technical Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Work with cross function/departments (CS, R&D, Quality, Product Line etc.) and manage technical issues
- Identify and feedback key field issues for continuous improvement
- Provide technical info, guidance/remote assistance to Field Engineers for machine troubleshooting
- Provide second level support for technical & quality issues
- Use JIRA service desk system to manage issue resolutions in the shortest possible time per Service Level Agreements
- Build up technical know-how on problem solving via structured knowledge transfer and experience from field issues
- Prepare engineering report for issue update to customer and/or management
Requirements:
- Bachelor or master's in mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years working experience in a specific machine platform
- Prior experience in Die attach process/ datacon machines and application
- Competency on JIRA systems will be a plus
- Excellent negotiation and customer interfacing skills
