My client is a world leader in the IC testing and semiconductor equipment industry and now seeks an experienced Application Engineer
The Application Engineer will work closely with field service, sales, and business development and will actively get involved in pre-sales presentation, solution development, implementation, post-sales support, and customer training
Responsibilities:
- Develop test programs (Java/C++) for digital devices on the 93k platform
- Support customers on debugging and resolving SW issues
- Write scripts (Perl/Python) and tools to assist customers in improving process quality and time to market
- Collect and collaborate with R&D and external teams on customer requirements to help develop next gen solutions
- Prepare and execute pre-sales activities such as customer presentations and paper benchmark projects, requirements analysis, competitive positioning activities
- Roll out new products at customer sites to support new product testers
- Train and develop customers' competency on product platforms and on new software and hardware solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with at least 6 - 8 years' experience in IC testing
- Familiar with SOC platform, able to support and develop test applications
- Strong fundamentals in digital, mixed-signal and high-speed domains
- Knowledge of HPC, AI, Server and Graphics applications is a plus
- Proficient in Java/C++ programming and Linux operating system
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Occasional travel, sometimes at short notice
