Senior R&D Software Engineer (.NET Core)
Looking out for a R&D Software Engineer with .NET Core experience. This role is ideally for someone with 5+ years of experience. Prior experience within the engineering/manufacturing industry is a bonus, but not necessarily a must have.
This is a permanent position, and the salary range is $6000-8000.
What You Will Be Doing
- You'll be developing new products and features while collaborating with different regional teams. You would also need to help maintain existing products and features.
- Take ownership of technical specifications for products by liaising with stakeholders on product requirements.
- Evaluate technical specifications of third-party components that would be used for development.
- Provide training and technical support for colleagues, stakeholders, and customers for your product expertise area.
- Work with the Global R&D team to establish best software development processes and guidelines.
The Ideal Requirements
- Development experience using Visual Studio and .NET Core
- Additional experience using C#, Angular, Go
- Knowledge of agile development
- Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, software design patterns, architecture patterns, and SOLID principles
- Know how on test driven development and networking technology
- Fluency in Mandarin in order to liaise with regional stakeholders
- Some bonuses but not must haves include:
- Android/IOS development
- Machine learning/data analytics
- Imaging/graphic processing
- C/C++, Java, Python, PHP, HTML5/CSS etc.
- Able to lead small teams of up to 5 people.
- Embedded development (ST and NXP processors)
