My client is a world leader in the life sciences industry and now seek an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support for manufacturing sustaining efforts
Responsibilities:
- Assume prime responsibility to support and drive activities to ensure successful product transfer into manufacturing
- Define and perform production process and equipment development
- Perform troubleshooting, failure analysis and drive issues to closure
- Perform data trending analysis, construct and execute design of experiments to address yield and quality issues
- Implement manufacturing and business process improvements, optimization and product sustaining activities
- Perform FMEA, process development, risk assessment, cycle time study etc.
- Drive maintenance and improvement activities on test fixtures and equipment
- Enforce cost reduction activities by perform engineering evaluation to qualify new or improved materials, processes and products
- Guide manufacturing engineers and supervisors to develop, implement and maintain manufacturing systems to improve productivity
- Conduct trainings for technicians and production personnel
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing with 7 - 10 years' experience in Manufacturing, Process Development or equivalent
Experience with high technology manufacturing and quality systems - Stronghold with SPC and LEAN Manufacturing
- Proficient in mechanical and fluidic systems
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of ISO13485, FDA and other regulatory requirements
- Proficient in mechanical, electro-mechanical and fluidics systems
