Position : Senior Executive, Capital Markets Compliance
You will be part of the team which contributes to the Capital Markets Compliance function of the company and report to the Vice President of the department.
About the role:
- Develop risk-based compliance program to facilitate the execution of compliance reviews and monitoring
- Conduct compliance reviews and monitoring/surveillance
- Provide compliance advisory support to business units through implementing appropriate compliance policies, assisting with the design and implementation of compliance management initiatives, and enhancing and improving internal processes and procedures
- Review completed compliance assessment return and prepare periodic compliance related reporting documents
- Monitor regulatory and statutory changes, assist in interpretation and implementation of new or changes in regulations and compliance policies, as required to address, manage and mitigate of such changes, in a practical and effective manner
- Provide compliance training and support
- Interact with auditors on regulatory compliance matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline
- Min 3 to 5 years of working experience in related field or international public accounting firm is required
- Possesses strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
- Resourceful, hands-on and committed to deliver results
- Able to prioritize and respond well to changing circumstances and tight timelines
- An independently minded person who thrives in a team-based environment
