My client is a world player in the RF and semiconductor industry and is one of the pioneers for 5G in the market and now seek an experienced Product Quality Engineer to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership regarding qualifications
- Drive systematic improvements to Product Quality
- Use Problem Analysis techniques to identify and resolve product, production, and technology reliability risks
- Define qualification plans and schedules, and drive execution to support timely assessments of product and/or process changes
- Lead or participate in problem resolution teams for complex technical issues
- Ensure an excellent customer experience with products at assembly and in field
- Support Product Quality Test Plans for products run at Subcontractors
- Assess ongoing Product Quality risk at Contract Manufacturers and OSATs by defining ongoing Reliability Monitoring and Risk Assessment
- Subject Matter Expert on impact of line, process or component changes to Product Reliability (Reliability modelling) at OSATs
- Create and manage process to manage Product risk due to changes in process, suppliers and materials among subcontractors
Requirements
- Advanced Degree in Engineering with 8 - 10 years of related experience
- Stronghold in semiconductors and RF devices
- Strong packaging and manufacturing process background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience with reliability testing
- Strong background in failure analysis and root cause analysis
- Exposure in dealing with contract manufacturers and OSATs
- Understanding of semiconductor standards such as JEDEC
