My client is a leader within the Automotive Industry and is looking to hire a SAP System Specialist (LO-SPM). This candidate will need to have a deep understanding of step by step process implementation measures as well as being able to work well in a team across the region. This will be CONTRACT role from now to December 2023 after which you may choose to apply for other internal IT positions.
Responsibilities
- Be a SME when it comes to all SPM related questions and issues across all departments
- Be a part of future IT developments and drive improvement projects
- Touching base with the IT department on the SPM matters
- Come up with other solutions and improvements that the department needs
- Be effective in controlling budgets and making sure the projects are moving along within the stipulated guidelines set by the company
- Help other team members with any escalations if and when necessary
- Control the project via assignment tracking
- Be able to highlight if there seem to be any pertinent issues that may become a problem down the line
- Engage actively in the project management
- Assist with conflict resolution within the team if necessary
- Communicate team's progress to the Project Leader on a timely basis
Requirements
- Diploma in IT/IT Management/ Logistics and Supply Chain may apply
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a logistics industry
- Great verbal communication skills
- Experience with Process Implementation
- Strong experience with SAP Parts Management
