Job Overview:
This is a newly created individual contributor perm role with an American pre-IPO Cybersecurity Software product vendor
The Sales Director will be responsible for building a business pipeline and selling the vendor's platform software to customers in Singapore mainly in the Government/Public sector
Responsibilities:
- Identify & drive targeted prospecting activities for accounts in Singapore with specific focus on Public Sector
- Directly identify qualified opportunities and build a diverse sales pipeline
- Manage pipeline activities including driving deals through presentations, demos, and POCs
- Identify deal stakeholders, understand budgets, procurement timeline and requirements
- Develop & manage quotes and proposals, contracts, and price negotiations
- Drive deals to closure meeting sales quota objectives
- Identify key stakeholders and understand their business needs and be able to articulate how the company's product/solution can solve problems for these stakeholders
- Partner closely with channel team to develop & construct business relationships with strategic value-added resellers (VARs) in the market that align their product portfolio to the vendor's offering
- Work closely with strategic partners to drive a successful channel business
- Work closely with marketing team to drive brand recognition & to deliver expected ROI for all marketing activities
- Gathering competitive intelligence and knowledge related to industry trends, share insights with market, product management and executive management
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role selling Cybersecurity/Security Software Solutions to Singapore Public Sector customers
- Strong background in and understanding of the Singapore Public Sector
- Proven track record of selling Enterprise level Cybersecurity Software Solutions
