Project Manager (IT Applications) - 1 year contract - Singapore
Looking for a Project Manager who can work independently in large-scale projects, preferably someone who is experienced in managing large-scale projects, with projects vary from IT Applications to Infrastructure.
This position doesn't require any team management, as the role focuses managing internal and external vendor and Project Managers, including working closely with developers, testers, solutions architects, database administrators throughout the project life cycle.
As the person managing the project, the person is expected to be technically sound on software development and infrastructure to provide necessary guidance to Project Managers on the vendor side, following best practices and standards.
At the same time, to bridge the gap between infrastructure and applications. As this role doesn't not manage teams, other responsibilities will include raising of service request, change requests and coordination of tasks execution carried out by the teams collaborating together.
Projects range from existing to new systems, as well as new development and enhancements when required. Therefore, DevOps experience, Cloud, container knowledge are a plus as the organisation is going through transformation into modern IT.
