My client is a world leader in the precision engineering and equipment industry and now seek an experienced Product Development Engineer to join them
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for improvement on current and new product lines
- Work on sub-system design and analysis for both current and new product line.
- Develop procedures for system and sub-system integration, troubleshooting and test.
- Support and lead the early involvement with suppliers in technology and NPI programs
- Lead supplier training and development for wafer inspection and metrology products.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent with at least 7-10 years' experience
- Experience in hardware engineering or product development
- Knowledge of wafer inspection and metrology products
- Stronghold in product lifecycle, ECO, and SAP systems will be a plus
- Travel of about 10-20%
