I am currently handling an exciting role with a leading well known International Food Specialties Business, to help identify a suitable candidate for a Manufacturing Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist role. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance for third party manufacturing operations in Malaysia and Vietnam.
Key areas of focus
- Site Audits
- Ensure that all raw materials, packaging products and final end products meet the necessary quality standards and
- Liaise with external lab testing services for product testing
- Lead the implementation of quality systems and ensuring the GMP's, SSOPs and HACCP processes
- Liaise with external lab testing services for product testing
It's an fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Quality Expert within the food industry to secure a role that offers an attractive package, regional exposure and full autonomy.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree/Masters in Food Science-Food technology or other related disciplines
- 2 to 5 years of Quality Management experience within Food Industry : Flavors, Nutrition, Ingredients, Food Manufacturers etc.
- Knowledge in Food Safety, HACCP and GMP
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- Willingness to travel - 45% to 50%***
