As part of our client's expansion, an opportunity has come up to drive Government Affairs and the development and execution of Market access programs across Business Units, including health economics and reimbursement. You will manage the priorities and align with business strategy and opportunities in the external policy environment.

This will include identifying government relationships and building a plan to drive strong relationship with the relevant stakeholders. The government affairs strategies to identify ways for the organization to successfully implement its business plans and position them as a thought leader and credit partner to the government bodies. You will work closely with the global team and coordinating bodies internally as well as engage appropriate industry associations for effective policy advocacy.

A large focus of the role will be to use HEOR methodologies to optimize Health Technology Assessments (HTA) and reimbursement applications. This will include working closely with private insurers to develop therapy-based reimbursement strategies. You will also provide recommendations to evidence development plans including utilization, patient outcomes and real-world examples as well as analyze and report findings.

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant masters with at least 7 years of experience in market access including reimbursement and/or health economics from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Track record of successful reimbursement and funding achievements for medical technologies. Expertise in methods of economic evaluation of medical technologies, you must possess high attention to details and be an effective communicator.
