This role will report to the Japan GM and play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring the ecommerce team, developing short and long-term strategies with online retailers and platforms. You will be the change agent, the management think-tank for all matters ecommerce and drive their agenda in the market. You will deliver sell in and sell out targets, build category development goals and own the P&L. In addition, you will optimize ROI via online performance marketing channels driving quality traffic to boost sales as well as the Ecommerce campaign calendar.
To be successful in this role, you must have a track record of running an Ecommerce business preferably in the consumer goods space with proven leadership or management skills as you will be managing a large team. Prior relationships with Rakuten or Amazon will be a plus. Expertise in performance media channels particularly search. You must be agile to navigate in a complex global matrix organization, have a strong drive to see things through, a problem solver and out of the box thinker.
