A Singapore-based start-up specializing in precision agriculture is seeking an e-Commerce professional to join the team. You will be leading their direct-to-consumer sales through high-growth channels. In this entrepreneurial role, you will be given the autonomy to define, build and grow the business from a small scale. Working closely with senior management you will strategize, sculpt and execute major plans which are critical for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to manage and direct all aspects of the ecommerce business
- Create sales & budget plans, and manage P&L of e-Commerce business including sales, costs, expenses and profit margin to align with company objectives
- Oversee promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, website traffic, and product performance, among other things
- Responsible for managing products on the eCommerce platform - add, modify, prune
- Source and onboard new products
- Continually keep up with competitors and market trends
- Contribute new ideas and concepts for product development and enhancement
- Work collaboratively with the production team in order to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Key Requirements:
- Degree-educated in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- At least 5-7 years of relevant work experience in managing e-commerce businesses, experience within digital marketing would be a bonus
- Basic knowledge of fresh food, its supply chain and the local eco-system
- Strong ethics and personal value system that is consistent with the company's belief in the importance of fresh and nutritious food
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A risk-taker with high capability of accepting challenges
