An excellent opportunity to step up to a Director of Business Development, Asia Pacific with a global food MNC where you will be leading the key strategic growth initiatives for their business portfolios. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop business development including M&A and investment opportunities. This includes business analysis and financial modelling of market and competitive landscape, sizing the market and identifying potential partners for JVs, M&A, and divestments. You will manage relationships with external vendors including investment banks and consultancy firms and support the business in strategy development, deal pipeline management and tracking.
To be successful in this role, you should have an MBA with 10 years of work experience in strategy and growth projects in the FMCG/ food nutrition and ingredients industry. Experience working in a management consultancy or investment banking is a plus. Exceptional research and analytical skills with a track record of accomplishment in M&A due diligence is a must. Strong problem solver with ability to work in a dynamic environment with complex projects, helping stakeholders to see the big picture. Good communicator and influencer is critical to thrive in the matrix organization.
