DevOps Engineer
The most successful automotive company, biggest producers of premium cars and the world's largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. Located in Singapore as their regional hub to oversee business development and also maintaining a large and significant IT hub along with a regional logistics centre which supplies to the Asia-Pacific region.
My client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to be part of the Identity and Access Management team. You should be able to create and maintain highly scalable, reliable, maintainable and secure Kubernetes clusters on AWS using Terraform. Must have the ability to develop and maintain a secure code and image repository and CI/CD Pipeline using Github, Gitlab, jFrog, Artifactory and Nexus. You will also be responsible for planning and setting up configuration management, logging, monitoring and alerting. Working closely with the Security and Network team is vital so to ensure that company standards and policies are followed, and this will also mean that you will be part of the 24/7 global response team that will oversee the operations with counterparts in EMEA and NAFTA to provide holistic support towards software engineering incident activities affecting the company.
The ideal candidate should have these qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a reputable university in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 years of strong Linux Systems Administration with emphasis on Cloud and DevOps (AWS preferred)
- 5 years of Kubernetes and Docker experience
- Deep knowledge in CI/CD build and deployment tools (Github, Gitlab, Maven, Gradle & Helm)
- Ability to develop CI/CD Pipelines with Github Actions that utilizes jFrog Artifactory for the company's Java-based Applications
- Set-up, maintain logging, monitoring and alerting infrastructure
- Be involved in incident response & management for production environment
- Linux Environment - Terraform, Helm, Phython, boto3, Git, Maven, Jira, Confluence, shell scripts and other scripting languages
- Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus & Splunk
- Experience with installing and maintaining security applications such as Ping, Forgerock & Okta will be a plus
