6 months Contract to Perm Accountant
(Role is convertible and may take less than 6 months, depending on performance and headcount approval)
Location: Central West/South
PURPOSE OF JOB :
Reporting to Head of Finance, this role is to assist in a start-up shared service model and providing services to 3 different companies with a total HC of less than 100. Be a key end-to end accounting operational support for finance function with key focus in accounts payable, fixed asset and inventory.
KEY ACTIVITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for accounts payable and fixed assets
- Intercompany transactions and confirmation
- Review and processing monthly staff claim
- Assist in month-end closing
- Responsible for quarterly GST submission to IRAS
- Assist in audit matters
- Participate in process improvement projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA and equivalent with minimum 5 years working experience.
- Strong hands on operational AP experience with good proficiency in MS Office especially Microsoft Excel (Macro - Pivot Table/V Lookup)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics will be added advantage
- Possess good working attitude, strong team player and problem solver
- Willing to work in a start-up environment and takes initiatives to problem solve
- Able to communicate at all levels
- Candidate to start within short notice preferred
