A financial services organization which has recently been backed by a world-renowned investment management firm is looking to expand across SEA, China and India, beginning with Singapore. As such, the organization is looking to get onboard a Business Development Director to build and maintain the asset servicing side of the business, and rapidly obtain new ones, while also pioneering the process of providing an alternative source of funding to an underserved segment of society, to that can benefit other market participants in their ecosystem.

The key responsibilities of this role would be to develop and maintain strong client relationships with Financial Institutions, Bank, None- Banks and FinTech's at a decision-making level, and have a commercial approach to sourcing servicing opportunities of both performing and non performing lending portfolios across SEA, China and India. You would be a thought leader entrusted to advise clients with regards to opportunity, risk, commerciality and new technology implementation and utilisation.


The ideal candidate for this role would already have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role within a financial organization, and have an entrepreneurial mindset with relentless focus on and drive for results by setting high standards for commitment and accountability. With strong connections with C-Suite level audiences, you would have a successful track record of sales execution/deal-closing in a direct and third-party reseller environment. You would have a strong knowledge of and passion for data analytics as decision making tools and other advancements in financial services technologies.


Most importantly, you would need to be a highly strategic thinker to develop long-term strategies which would capitalize on the organization's focus on technology-driven servicing and unique servicing-led platform model so as to broaden the organization's addressable market.
