Our client, a global MNC within the Medical Devices industry is looking for an experienced Assistant Technical Manager to join their team based here in Singapore. This role will be leading a team of Technical Support staff for operations support and manage services for the Singapore market.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers, ensuring customer experience is top of mind
- Plan corrective and preventive action visits for customers based in Singapore
- Oversee/monitor the P&L of local service contracts
- Coach and guide new Engineers
- Monthly reporting of any issues and customer feedback
- Review and maintain spare parts needed to support local operations
- Provide 24 hours standby for customers on a weekly rotational basis, when required.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Biomedical/Mechatronic/Electronics Engineering
- At least 4 to 5 years working within the Medical Devices industry (IVD in particular)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical skills/experience
- Customer service mindset, with an ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders with high professionalism
- Valid driver's license
